Science shows that thoughts, both positive and negative have a direct influence on our immune system, and influence everything from our ability to deal with infections ranging from the flu and controlling HIV, all the way through to its influence on our ability to heal after an operation. There is something powerful about having a positive outlook, which is most definitely easier said than done. The scientific community have finally put a label on it – Psychoneuroimmunology!
